KORMA - Conquer the Corduroy with Blair Sharpless

Learn how to conquer the legendary Corduroy Enduro with seven-time champion Blair Sharpless.


On August 27, 2022, Blair Sharpless, Ryder Heacock, and other top Corduroy Enduro finishers will share their insights, skills, and strategies for those wanting to attempt, complete, or podium at this iconic event.

All proceeds of this event will go to the FIM International Six Days Event (ISDE) Team Canada. The event will also include prizes, lunch, and an opportunity to contribute via lottery tickets and other means to Team Canada’s success at this year’s ISDE at Le Puy en Velay, France.

The course will commence at a private and exclusive location close to the Somerville Forest near Kinmount, Ontario. Location details are released to registered attendees. The starting/end/lunch location has ample parking, prime access to trails, and swimming to cool down after this special course.

The exclusive event is limited to 50 people.

Registration fee: $75.00.

The course will cover:

  • History of the Corduroy, format, and class differences
  • Bike set up and tuning
  • Recommended gear, tools, and ride preparation
  • Strategies on pace and avoiding “houring-out”
  • How to handle bike failure or watering out on the trail
  • Tailored professional skills to the rider and class
  • An unforgettable day of riding and learning at the Somerville Forest

This event is intended for all skill levels, genders, and ages. Be sure to register before is sells out!

In addition to the inherent risks associated with off-road motorcycling, participants accept the additional risks COVID-19 creates for riders and indemnifies KORMA, the local municipalities(s), organizers, volunteers and other riders from any COVID related consequences or effects upon personal health and well-being that may flow from participation. 

REGISTRATION AND REFUNDS: Only registered riders may attend or participate in the ride at their respective ride time. Unregistered riders will be turned away. There will be no on-sight registration. All riders must register online and in advance. Riders are not permitted to register or attend for more than one time unless authorized by KORMA for the purpose of providing support or volunteering. Riders must be a member of KORMA or OFTR unless otherwise stated, be over the age of 16, and properly insured / plated for the trails in Ontario.

Refunds will be provided if the event cannot proceed due to COVID restrictions. Refunds beyond that will be made on a case by case basis with open spaces, upon refund, going to KORMA members on respective waiting lists. Registration is limited to KORMA or OFTR members unless otherwise stated and is non-transferable.
